Another Volta art fair comes to pass, the 6th that i have had the pleasure of being part of the Team for, (4 in Basel and 2 in New York) and this one may well have been the most exiting yet! The new SoHo location, 82 Mercer, brought with it some new challenges and surprises for the team but ultimately saw a real development for Volta NY, and this was reflected in record sales, and unbelievable visitor numbers! Over 20,000 people visited Volta NY over the 4 days we were open this March, and for me that is the greatest achievement!
The press response was fantastic, and in this short video Matthew Drutt, Executive Director of the Blouin Cultural Advisory Board, takes us on a tour of VOLTA NY, looking for the art fair’s hidden gems.
